Tal Siano is an international visual artist, who shoots both still and moving images.  He graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School (Jerusalem), and has created award-winning films which have been showcased at Cannes, Munich, and Montpellier.

 

Now based in Berlin, Tal captures raw, intimate moments through photography and videography. His expertise as a somatic movement facilitator, coach, & bodyworker gives him a unique understanding of the body. This informs his work behind the camera, as he seeks to bear witness to the depth of people’s interactions and relationships, and illuminate the inherent beauty and vulnerability of the human form. Tal works internationally, specialising in capturing portraits of bodyworkers and movement practitioners in action; forming an integrated visual record of retreats & community gatherings; and documenting creative processes. 

 

Tal’s long standing experience in humanitarian work and peace projects, has led him to an innovative artistic practice rooted in both empathy and creativity. He is flexible and quick to adapt to a range of different environments and working conditions, and always excited to meet people where they are at, and find the best way to co-create striking visual images that are both revealing and inspiring.
